The professional non-contact infrared thermometer UT309C can quickly and accurately determine the surface temperature in the range of -35°C to +650°C by measuring the infrared energy radiated from the target surface. The UT309C is a very durable device suitable for everyday use. It is resistant to falling from 3m and the excellent degree of protection IP65 ensures good resistance to water and dust. For easier and intuitive aiming of the device on the target surface, a dual rotating laser with two wavelengths is built in, which indicates the correct aiming of the thermometer. The ratio of the distance to the diameter of the measured surface is 12: 1 with this instrument. It is possible to preset the emissivity of the measured surface in the range of 0.1 to 1.0. The indication of preset functions and measured values ​​is provided by a high-contrast LCD black-and-white display and exceeding the temperature limits is indicated by LED diodes (exceeding the upper limit red and the lower limit blue). It is possible to set a continuous measurement, when after 2 minutes the backlight of the display turns off, after the end of the measurement by pressing the shutter button again, the temperature value remains on the display. The temperature measurement time is up to 250msec in 95% of cases. It is possible to indicate the minimum, maximum and average temperatures and the difference between the highest and lowest measured temperature (MIN, MAX, AVG, DIF). The thermometer switches off automatically, in order to reduce consumption, if it is not used for 8 s. This switch-off can be switched off.
